Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional security layer for your Maxbit account. Besides your password, you’ll enter a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds.The code is generated by Google Authenticator or another authenticator app — it is never sent by SMS or email.To set up 2FA:Download Google Authenticator from the App Store or Google Play Store.Open the Maxbit app and go to Home.Tap the Profile icon.Select Settings > Security Settings.Select Google Authenticator Setup and enable it.Scan the QR code shown in Maxbit with Google Authenticator, or enter the setup key manually.Enter the 6-digit code from Google Authenticator into the Maxbit app.Tap Submit to complete setup.For security, digital asset withdrawals will be suspended for 24 hours after 2FA is successfully enabled.

You may be unable to withdraw your assets for one of the following reasons:Your account was recently activated and the 24-hour holding period has not yet passed.You recently changed your password or updated a security setting — withdrawals are suspended for 24 hours after such changes.The selected asset or blockchain network is temporarily under maintenance.Your available balance is insufficient to cover the withdrawal amount and applicable fees.The withdrawal amount is below the minimum or exceeds your daily limit.The destination wallet address, network, or other details are incorrect.Your account is undergoing an additional security review.Please check the message on the withdrawal page and verify your account status, balance, and selected network.
